Selecting an Electric Stacker Based on Operational Functions
The basic operational functions of a stacker include horizontal handling, stacking/picking, loading/unloading, and order picking. The specific functions required by the company can be initially determined from the company's product range. Additionally, special operational functions will affect the specific configuration of the stacker. For example, when handling paper rolls or molten iron, the stacker needs to be equipped with attachments to complete the special functions.
Selecting a Stacker Based on Operational Requirements
Stacker operational requirements include general requirements such as pallet or cargo specifications, lifting height, aisle width, and ramp gradient. At the same time, operational habits (such as whether the operator prefers to sit or stand) and operational efficiency (different models have different efficiencies) also need to be considered.
Operating Environment
If the goods being handled or the warehouse environment have environmental requirements regarding noise or exhaust emissions, these should be considered when selecting the model and configuration. If the location is in a cold storage facility or an environment with explosion-proof requirements, the stacker should be a cold storage type or an explosion-proof type.
